If you want to find a treasure island, you need a map. Now, I have a map which can guide you to the nation of World’s Nobles— it’s a map of 天竜國. It‘s widespread in online community recently. This is 天竜Palace, located in the most expensive area 天母. Around天竜Palace is信義、大安area, the special economic zone. I live in the suburbs of天竜國, 中永和, so I am categorized in lower noble class. If your ID card number starts with “A,” congradulation, you are born to be a天龍人and can enjoy the abunbant social warefare and resource.      

But, maybe some of you are not happy to be called “天龍人” now, because “天龍人” has become a term to satirize those very noble people who live in the big city. They feel superior to others. And the most distinguishing charicteristic is “no compassion.”  They don’t know how to put themselves in others shoes.

Recently some news have ignited public anger. Let me ask you a question, “Is cancer a contagious disease? ” But 天龍人in 大安district are so afraid of being infected by cancer. Following is a news video about why these residents opposed the temporary housing for children critically ill with cancer(癌症重症兒童中途之家)in their neiborhood. This news led to lots of online criticism accusing these 天龍人for having no compassion for others.  No wonder many south Taiwan people dislike Taipei citizens.    

To be honest, sometimes I think city people are too smart and protect themselves too much. Recently I just read a forwarding article which advised people not to borrow mobilephones to strangers, because they might steal away your personal data. It might be true. But I would rather believe there’s still someone in need. What if I also lose my mobilephone some day and need to ask for help from others? This society is too isolated and we need more compassion.

The 1^st well-known天龍人 in China history is the emperior晉惠帝. When his people suffered from famine and had no rice to eat, he asked, “Why don’t they eat meat?” Hopefully we are not the next 晉惠帝 and Do to others what you would have them do to you.   Do you want to be a noble person? Then let’s forget about saving money to buy an expensive manson in 天母, because where we live doesn’t decide how noble we are; but our heart does.
